mtb law girl reports the Safe Passing Bill has come to life in the Texas legislature.
BikeTexas (Texas Bicycle Coalition) just published the following on their website regarding the bill that I alluded to in my previous post entitled “Give me 3 feet!.” Scroll all the way down to the bottom to review a copy of the bill then call your Senator and Representatives to voice your support. I believe biking and walking to work is gonna become more widespread. think about it, with gas prices going up,its crazy,the safe passing bill is needed.My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of a hit and run. 5 cities are most walkable and I believe cities in texas need to be among them

While this legislation brings awareness of the issue, until drivers and riders respect each others’ space there will be problems on the road.
