The San Antonio Wheelmen invite you to the 40th Annual Easter Hill Country Tour. Experience the charm and hospitality of the Texas Hill Country and three days of the best riding Texas has to offer for as little as $45. Quiet, well-paved roads, challenging terrain and panoramic scenery have made the EHCT one of the premier cycling events in Texas.
Routes

All EHCT routes start from Schreiner University in Kerrville.  Since several distance options are offered each day (each day’s rides are on a different set of colored sheets), there should be something for everyone.  There are no mass starts.  Feel free to team up with your riding buddies and ride at your own pace!  The routes will be supported by rest stops that are approximately 15 miles apart.

The Texas Hill Country occupies the eastern half of the Edwards Plateau. The countryside is characterized by hilly, arid terrain populated by cedar, mesquite, and live oak trees.  A number of rivers and creeks have sliced the Plateau as they flow generally southeasterly down to the Gulf of Mexico. Roads along the river valleys tend to be flat with gentle slopes; roads that cross the valleys and ridges often entail short, steep climbs. These routes also include the best vistas!

With no mass-starts, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, friendly cycling experience. All rides are fully-supported with rest stops and SAG vehicles. Join around 1,000 riders and see why the EHCT is an Easter weekend tradition.

Dinner & Social: The dinner on Saturday night will be at the YO Ranch Hotel & Convention Center Ballroom. Doors open at 6:30. The registration price of $27 in advance and $30 on-site will include a Mexican buffet dinner, a cash bar with specials on bottles of wine and buckets of beer and margaritas, and entertainment by a Tejano band.

The YO Ranch Hotel is located at 2033 Sidney Baker, Kerrville, Texas 78028.
