MONAHANS A fundraiser to help the St. John Knights of Columbus and provide scholarships is rolling its way through West Texas.</p>
<p>The Blistering Sands Challenge Bicycle Tours are scheduled Saturday at Hill Park, located at the corner of Fourth Street and Bruce Avenue.</p>
<p>The 22- and 66-mile tours will begin at 8 a.m. The free 10-mile tour starts at 8:05 a.m.</p>
<p>The entry fee is $17 in advance and $20 on the day of the event. For information, call 432-943-2187</p>

<p>Purcell, born in Milwaukee and now of Texas, dominated the majority of the Pro Women 1/2/3 race during the Fond du Lac Bicycling Gran Prix to take home $250, a cow pattern winner&#8217;s jersey, a cool swig of chocolate milk and a bouquet.</p>
