Hosted by Jordan Ranch, five miles west of Schulenburg. 10, 20, 40 and 70-mile rides, all beginning at 8:00 a.m. Entry fee $30 (with free t-shirt if registered before March 18, 2011); $35 on day of event. Lite breakfast included for entrants. A benefit for the American Cancer Society.

Directions
Leaving Houston, take I-10 West 88 Miles. Exit US-90, exit 677. Turn left onto US-90. Turn left onto TX-222 SPUR/LYONS AVE. Turn right onto N Main St. 531 N Main St. is on your right.

Parking
Plenty of free parking and showers will be available.

Art/Craft Show & Activities
An arts/crafts show and children activities will start soon after the 9am send off, for family and friends waiting on the riders. Musical entertainment will start around noon and activities will flow into Sengelmann’s Dance Hall early in the afternoon.

Additional Information
Sugar Cycles, presents the Second annual Texas Dance Hall Ride, that will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Schulenburg, TX. Multiple ride options include 35, 45 and 65 miles. All distances start in front of the historic Sengelmann’s Dance Hall on Main Street. Riders of all capabilities will be able to tour the famous Painted Churches constructed by German and Czech communities during the 1890s. The riders will also get to experience three of Texas’ many historic dance halls, all over one hundred years old, Sengelmann’s, Swiss Alp’s and Moravia.

Proceeds go to support the local Boys and Girls Club of America.

All distances start in front of Sengelmann’s Dance Hall on Main Street. Riders of all ages and capabilities will be able tour the famous Painted Churches. The riders will also get to experience two of Texas’ historic dance halls, both over one hundred years old.

You won’t hear that being said at the Tour of Navidad Valley, where cyclists of all skill levels experience a staggering display of vivid wildflowers amid the fresh air of Fayette County’s rolling farmlands and wondrous Painted Churches. The 2009 Tour takes place on April 4, 2009 in Schulenburg with rides of 20, 40 and 70 miles. Packet pick-up and tour day registration begins at 6:30 a.m.; the rides begin at 8:00 a.m. Your fee will include a lite breakfast provided by the historic Sengelmann Dance Hall, Café and Beer Garden. Sign up and prepare yourself for a day of breathtaking scenery. Or you will miss it.
