We have landed in a gorgeous state park for the night. Although a bit far from Sanderson it is very much worth the extra distance. Pristine site, quiet, with a huge sky, the horizon is so far away. This is Texas hill country and the road goes up and down and up and down relentlessly. The slope is never severe but just enough to be wearing after the 30th time.
