The plan maps out hundreds of miles of new bike routes around the city, but some council members say they have questions about how those projects would be funded. The state park where we stayed last night, Bastrop, has been repeatedly burned (40,000 acres) and flooded, had 1750 homes destroyed, roads and dams washed away to such an extent that following any directions out was just not happening. Even a park employee gave us wrong information. We followed Highway 71 for miles until we got back on route.<br \/>\nGreat pastoral ride for many miles ensued.
