My plan was to ride the &#8220;Stroker Road &#8211; Huffman&#8221; route and possibly take pictures of other bicyclists. This didn&#8217;t get off to a good start as the first biker passed me riding on the trail along Kingwood Drive. I didn&#8217;t see him soon enough to stop and take that picture as he rode by. The next cyclist I met was on Old Atascocita Road east of FM 2100 and I missed that picture too. From there I rode to Ramsey Road and turned right. About a mile after that the next biker passed but I didn&#8217;t see him in time but I thought I could take a picture of the rider that was following but I was too slow again. I need a better plan of action.<\/p>\n<p>The weather was nice for riding with the temperature in the low to mid 80&#8217;s, partly cloudy sky and a south 10 mph wind. The wind was a problem riding south on Ramsey Road but the rest of the rime isn&#8217;t too bad. The wind helped me ride north from Stroker Road to Huffman where I took a 15 minute rest stop at the Chevron station before riding the last 11+ miles to the end of the ride at 1:46 PM I refilled my water bottle and ate a trail mix bar at the station letting the cool breeze dry my long sleeve jersey out some. I was glad I chose the long sleeve jersey because the wind had a chill to it.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the ride I looked at my Elemnt computer and was surprised to see my max speed was 77.4 mph. I can&#8217;t remember biking that fast.
