In days past that meant more exposure to rain but I think the weather is changing. Wheels down at 1:53 PM riding the Canyon Endurace. I wanted to ride far enough to get even with the pace to reach my 625 mile goal for October. I chose the &#8220;Forest Cove &#8211; Oakhurst &#8211; Valley Ranch&#8221; route and went 28.61 miles. My October total is up to 62.34 miles. That puts me slightly ahead of the pace I need. I missed biking Friday due to rain. Part of the route was on the San Jacinto Bayou Greenway which is still a work in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The week finished with 158.98 miles. Not bad considering the weather and other issues I had. Nine times biking today&#8217;s route in 2021. sky did have plenty of clouds. Near the end of the ride I wondered if some rain would catch me but ti didn&#8217;t. Weather summary: start 84 (72% humidity, 74 dew point), mostly cloudy, wind var 5 mph; 83 (73% humidity, 73 dew point), mostly cloudy, wind N 7 mph. Fall has been a dent in the high temperature. Next week is forecast to clear with the lows in the upper 60&#8217;s and highs in the low 80&#8217;s.
