Cross-country cyclists aid Amarillo Habitat for Humanity<\/a><\/h2>\n

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR\/KCIT) \u2013 Amarillo Habitat for Humanity (AHFH) announced that it will host a group of 21 cross-country bicyclists from the group \u201cBike & Build\u201d from Wednesday until July 1, who plan to assist with an AHFH home-building project during their stay.<\/p>\n

As described by AHFH, the Bike & Build group \u201cengages young adults in a service-oriented cycling trip to raise awareness for the affordable housing cause.\u201d The group visiting Amarillo has been a part of a cross-country trip through the southern US since May 18. Harlingen Freedom Fest implements biking<\/a><\/h2>\n

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) \u2014 The City of Harlingen will host its second annual Freedom Fest Social Bike Ride Saturday.<\/p>\n

The biking event is scheduled to begin 8 a.m. Saturday at Lon C. Hill Park.<\/p>\n

A group photo will be taken at the end of the ride at Iwo Jima Monument.<\/p>\n

The public is encouraged to return back to the park for Freedom Fest.<\/p>\n
