When I started my evening ride I was not sure I could go the same distance I went yesterday because the sky was overcast and I thought the daylight would disappear sooner. But not too long into the ride the overcast sky broke and the sun started to shine through enough for me to think maybe I could not only match yesterday but maybe go a little farther. So I was able to ride 23.11 miles versus 22.79 yesterday. This was not that much of an increase but I will take it. I did not ride as fast as yesterday with today’s average sheet at 14.9 mph.<\/p>\n

I almost did not ride across Lake Houston\u00c2\u00a0 on FM1960 because of the debris on the shoulders. There is ice storm aggregate from February and tree limbs along with the usual glass. Maybe the City of Houston will schedule a sweeper. Tomorrow is a rest day so that I can be ready for Saturday’s ride.<\/p>\n
