The park is located in Burnet, Texas overlooking Lake Buchanan and the nearby Thunderbird Lodge and Event Center. Went for a ride with my Homie, and as always, it turned into an adventure with water puddles, closed gates, and a confused cop. However, the best part – we saw the last sunset for 2018.

I set a goal of 2500 last January and never thought at that time I’d enjoy cycling very much, certainly not enough to get a road bike. Thanks to the many who have encouraged, cheered, pulled, cajoled, supported, challenged and inspired me this year. I wish for each of you a wonderful and happy new year!
