Woodlands tapped to test new bike share technology

The Woodlands may play host to a test run of the latest technology in bike sharing this fall.
BCycle, a bike share equipment supplier, approached The Woodlands Township with a proposal to use Town Center as a field trial location for its new BCycle Smart bike system in order to test equipment and gather user feedback.

For the past three years, a Texan has been pedaling a cargo bicycle across the country with his dog Bixby and their safety companion ‘Chicken Charlie.’
They’re on an epic adventure promoting local animal shelters.
