Yesterday, Bike Friendly Richardson, was invited to have a table at the Cyclesomatic Bike Fair – hosted by Bike Friendly Oak Cliff. It started off a bit chilly, but it ended up being a great day.

Along with many booths and a huge crowd, there was a cyclocross race. I’d never seen one in person, so it was pretty exciting to watch.

The Good: volunteers were very nice, start and finish were fun and well coordinated.
The Bad: roads were in poor condition and some of the route was poorly marked, leading to some confusion.

Rudy Pospisil is working to raise money to fight cancer by cycling through 30 countries, it’s the Thirty4Three Firefighter Global Cyclist For Charity.
Rudy was diagnosed about a decade ago, but he survived and now he’s giving back, trying to help others facing a similar diagnosis.
