Major work was done by the USFS for tree removal with encouragement and support from GHORBA The original Double Lake trail is now open, use caution for debris on the trail and help move some of it to the side please. …

Like folks from all over, I’ve been following the progress of the Tour Divide racers on line. I tried riding in Colorado last year and it was lots tougher than I thought. I was wondering if there are any bikepackers or future TD racers in the Houston area interested in training for it.
El Paso doctor dies from injuries after bike accident

Dr. Christopher J. Powers, a well-known and respected El Paso obstetrics and gynecology physician, died at around 11:45 p.m. Thursday night at University Medical Center.
