This ride meanders through pretty countryside on lightly traveled roads, east of New Braunfels. Meet at the Freiheit Country Store. Take I-35 north to New Braunfels, take exit 188 and proceed on the access road to Hwy 46. Turn right on Hwy 46, then left on Hwy 1101 (1/4 mile). Go about 2 miles on Hwy 1101 and watch for the store on the left.

Trekking across Texas: Warriors on Wheels cycle with a purpose
