Texbiker.net covers the news, events and resources for those interested in Texas bicycling.

My bicycling passion was rekindled in 1979 with a Huffy bicycle from Woolco. From early rides around my neighborhood my enthusiasm grew to tackle my unsupported first century. From there I discovered organized rides all over Texas, races and mountain bikes. Many bikes and miles later the enthusiasm is still there.

Thanks to my late wife, Hazel Marie, for her support over the many years, miles and rides.

My primary bike is the Cervelo Caledonia Rival AXS below. My titanium bike is the Lynskey Helix titanium. My newest bike is a Canyon Endurace CF 7 Rival eTap.

Puddle For The Ducks – Katy, TX

Sun & Ski Sports, Katy Mills Mall – 5000 Katy Mills Circle.

START TIME: 7:30 AM AT KATY MILLS MALL IN FRONT OF SUN & SKI SPORTS

All riders must wear approved helmets, comply with all applicable laws and follow the rules of the road.

Riders Pre-Registered By February 3, 2008 will receive an Official PUDDLE FOR THE DUCKS T-shirt. T-shirt is not guaranteed For Riders registered After February 3, 2008

Children – Riders 17 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult during the ride.

$25 until Feb. 3rd
$35 thereafter

Waggin Trail Bike Ride – Hillsboro, TX

The Waggin Trail Bike Ride has 4 courses as follows: 1. Greyhound (74 miles) 2. Shepherd (55 miles) 3. Beagle (41 miles) 4. Poodle (10 miles) Proceeds from the Waggin Trail Bike Ride support two non-profit organizations in Hill County, Texas. The Hill County Paw Pals and the Boys and Girls Club of Hillsboro, Texas.

Registration: $25.00

Greyhound – 8:00 am
Shepherd – 9:00 am
Beagle – 9:30 am
Poodle – 9:30 am

20 year anniversary for Freeze Your Fanny! We hope you enjoy your time with us and enjoy the beauty of East Texas during one of the scenic routes. Remember to come early and enjoy the before and after eats.

Routes for the RIDE will be 10, 31, 46, and 60 miles.

The first 300 ride entries get the great longsleeve event tshirt and the first 100 run entries get a great long sleeve event t-shirt…HURRY! Thank you for supporting our athletes as we continue to pursue the gold and respect of all that we encounter.

Run 5K & 10K – $10.00
