Texbiker.net covers the news, events and resources for those interested in Texas bicycling.

My bicycling passion was rekindled in 1979 with a Huffy bicycle from Woolco. From early rides around my neighborhood my enthusiasm grew to tackle my unsupported first century. From there I discovered organized rides all over Texas, races and mountain bikes. Many bikes and miles later the enthusiasm is still there.

Thanks to my late wife, Hazel Marie, for her support over the many years, miles and rides.

My primary bike is the Cervelo Caledonia Rival AXS below. My titanium bike is the Lynskey Helix titanium. My newest bike is a Canyon Endurace CF 7 Rival eTap.

$20 per rider or $15 per rider for families of 4 or more

Cedar Hill rotary club gears up for annual bike rally

All but a few loose ends are left to be tied up for the Rotary Club of Cedar Hill, which hosts its first Head for the Hills Bike Rally on May 12 – a ride that starts at Cedar Hill High School and stretches from Ellis to Johnson counties.

The Texas High School League wraps up a successful 2007 road racing series

Texas High School League Wraps up Successful Season
Dallas, Texas – The Texas High School Cycling League road racing series is declared a huge success after holding four events and seven different races. League director, Andrew Armstrong, says, “The season was fantastic. We saw great competition from all the schools and students and we have incredible interest in expanding the league for next season.”
