While this not a strictly Texas ride the route does cover some of the northeast roads in Texas.
The 6th Annual Tour de Goodwill is scheduled for Saturday in Shreveport.
The Tour de Goodwill, expected to feature 500 cyclists from throughout the South, supports Goodwill Industries and its employment programs.
The event has five routes: a 5-mile family-fun ride, 25, 50, 75, and 100 miles, geared for cyclists of all levels that travels through northwest Louisiana and east Texas.
During the month of May people in El Paso can enjoy a car free area to ride their bicycles each Sunday. Full article from the El Paso Times.
