HOUSTON – Bikes lanes stretching 9.2 miles opened Thursday at Earl Henderson Park, in the Near Northside.
The segments were completed with a portion of the $10 million Houston Bike Plan, launched by Commissioner Rodney Ellis in 2018.

After a great send off on Saturday morning, Ricker Ledoux Sr., 70, was sidelined on his trip from Deweyville, Texas to Dover, Delaware on Sunday.

Ricker had a Bike accident outside of Opelousas, La. and broke his hip. He is okay but he will definitely not finish his ride at this time.

Just had two bikes stolen from the CubeSmart storage on Walzem Rd. They were double locked inside a cargo trailer but security is pretty lax at this storage so they had plenty of time to break in.
