Today’s ride got a late start because I wasted most of the day trying get a book to publish for the Kindle. After pulling out most of my hair I gave up for the day at the advice of my wife. This was probably a wise move because the frustration was getting higher. So I left home on the ride and quickly noticed the wind had picked up from what it has been the last few days and the clouds have appeared again. The clear blue skies gave way to many clouds but the sun did made it through most of the time. For a change the temperature was cooler at the end (84 degrees, 54% humidity) than at the start (91 degrees, 43% humidity). With the wind I struggled to keep my speed up enough to get the average speed in the 15 mph range. Instead it ended up at 14.9 mph. I did manage a strong max speed of 26.7 mph with the assistance of the strong tailwind. My miles were an exact 25.0<\/strong>. Average cadence was 79.2 RPM.<\/p>\n

October miles are now up to 136.65<\/strong>, this week is 111.41<\/strong> and year to date is 4377.98<\/strong>. Tomorrow I will ride before I try to publish this book again.<\/p>\n
