BikeTexas Kids Kup is a FREE, fun, off-road bike event designed to produce smiles on the faces of all young participants as they finish the race course. Every child receives a medal.<\/p>\n
Age range is 12 all the way down to tykes on trikes and training wheels. Parents can run behind and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153help\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the younger folks. If your child wants to be in Kids Kup, he or she is old enough.<\/p>\n
Helmets are required. Any standard kids bike in good repair is fine.<\/p>\n
After a bicycle and helmet safety session, long-time youth bike racing experts Bill and Jacque Payne divide the kids into age-appropriate groups for the races. Every child gets a goodie bag and there is a drawing for free helmets after the event.<\/p>\n
