“I read your story about the Salado Creek Greenway on your website. I often go to the Greenway meetings which are held once a month and ride on the Leon Creek Greenway about 2 to 3 times a week.\u00c2\u00a0 All of the greenways are 10 feet wide and have trail heads located on the trail to park your car.\u00c2\u00a0 The trail heads have portable restrooms and water fountains.\u00c2\u00a0 The greenways are patrolled by the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Police Department. The Leon Creek Greenway has about 14 miles of trail to ride, walk or jog on.\u00c2\u00a0 The other Greenways we have are Salado Creek and River Median Creek Greenways. San Antonio is planning to expand the greenways throughout the city.\u00c2\u00a0 The Salado Creek Greenway trail will someday go through Fort Sam Houston Fort which would make about 16 miles long and the Median River Greenway will be connected to the Mission Trail making that trail the longest trail in the city.
