For cyclists, Saturday, Sept. 20, offers three races at San Angelo State Park. A 5-mile mountain bike time trial begins at 9 a.m., and a kids’ race will be held at noon. For endurance cyclists, the six-hour Dinosaur Endurance Race begins at 4 p.m. Cyclists can compete solo or on two-person teams; just remember to bring a good head lamp.<\/p>\n
Finally, the Chaparral Challenge Mountain Bike Race takes place on Oct. 19. This outstanding event benefits the Friends of the State Park and begins at the North Concho Pavilion.<\/p>\n
