In many cases, youth and low-income adults get their bike for free if they learn the skills to refurbish and maintain their bicycle. On the same day that Morrow, a lifelong BMX and dirt bike enthusiast, found his new home, a donation of 65 badly worn bicycles also rolled through the doors.<\/p>\n<p>Morrow stood on stage at The House of Hope\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s graduation Saturday night, not yet as a graduate, but as a man who has dedicated himself to healing through Christ. Our goal was to dip our front wheels in the Pacific in San Diego. . . . The trip took 54 days \u00e2\u20ac\u201d we rode for 53 of them, rain or shine, taking one day off, in Austin, Tex. The night before each day\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ride we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d plan our route \u00e2\u20ac\u201d the Adventure Cycling organization puts out bike-specific maps for the U.S. We looked at those, and took those routes, for the most part, on country roads.
