His blog reports:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This morning, in beautiful Mineral Wells, Texas, I did my 23d bike <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kiwaniscrazykicker.com\/\">rally<\/a> of the year and my 444th overall. Once again, the weather cooperated. Actually, the weather did more than cooperate; it delighted us. The autumn sky was clear blue; the temperature was mild (albeit chilly at the start); and there was only a touch of wind. My friend Randy showed up, as he did a week ago in Glen Rose. My other so-called friends, namely Joe, Phil, and Julius, wimped out, as is their wont. A friend, in case you haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t heard, is someone you know real well but like anyway.
