Davenport pedaled his Trek bicycle to the Mineral Wells Rails to Trails Trailhead Sunday afternoon to the sounds of clapping and cheering of family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Decked out in a long-sleeved red shirt and blue denim coveralls, Davenport celebrated his recent 84th birthday by riding the trailway from Weatherford to Mineral Wells.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t stop pedaling from Weatherford to Garner. \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 I took a break in Garner,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Davenport remarked. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Waited there about 15 or 20 minutes\u00e2\u20ac\u009d before deciding to continue on. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We averaged 8 mph. At times, it was 3 or 4 mph because of the uphill climbs.
