The cycling community has been abuzz with excitement since officials announced that Austin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Lance Armstrong had registered to ride in the two-day Tour de Gruene Bicycle Classic.<\/p>\n
The Texas cycling legend is expected to compete today and Sunday in and around Gruene, near New Braunfels.<\/p>\n
Cyclists lined up at Bike World in San Antonio on Thursday to pick up their racing numbers and T-shirts. They talked about the chance to compete with the seven-time Tour de France champion.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s great for the area, great for the biking community, to have Lance come and ride with us,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said 50-year-old Chris Price, who was with his 8-year-old son, Liam.<\/p>\n
