The 2012 Bessies Creek 24 races take place over a 21 mile loop commencing in Brookshire, Texas passing through Fulshear and Simonton before returning to Brookshire. The course is mostly flat and travels on FM roads. The majority of the roads have wide shoulders. The format of the 24 hour race, the 12 hour race and the 6 hour race is that the racer covering the most miles in the allotted time wins.
