James Murff, CJ Hebert, and myself had a general plan of riding aggressively, but modulating our efforts depending on whether riders from teams with a large presence in the race were with us. CJ and myself took turns following the early attacks, but they were all reeled in fairly quickly. Then, about 20 minutes into the race, the rain started to fall. At first, it was light, but then the sky opened up, and the rain fell steadily for about 10 minutes.
