I&#8217;ll be there from around June 6-13. I&#8217;ve never ridden there. I&#8217;m sure I can find a map and make my way solo if I have to, but I am somewhat directionally challenged and would be much more comfortable in a group.<\/p>\n<p>Are there any regular group rides that I could tag along with? Any locals want to show me around? I promise to return the favor if you are ever in Austin.<\/p>\n<p>Faster or slower than me, I don&#8217;t really care. I just don&#8217;t want to have to spend the night in the desert. I would describe myself as a good rider who loves technical terrain. Riders gathered Friday morning on the UT campus for a kick-off event. They set out on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>This year marks the ninth annual ride raising funds for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
