He sent out resumes and filled out applications, but when he didn&#8217;t hear back, he could feel depression starting to take root. He drank. He slept. He was bored.<\/p>\n<p>Then the 51-year-old Longmont man decided to take advantage of the unexpected break and cross off something from his bucket list: riding his bike across the country.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not for charity or to raise awareness for a noble cause.
