\nCome join us for the 2nd Annual CPR Ride and Summer Picnic, aka the Second Annual Memorial Ride and Picnic for the Formerly Late Stanton Truxillo. This ride and picnic, with a free, hands only CPR class, was inspired by the life and brain saving CPR administered by a Good Samaritan when ACA member Stanton Truxillo suffered a massive heart attack on an ACA ride on August 3, 2010.<\/p>\n

Roby Christie, one of the original organizers of Hotter’N Hell Hundred and current chairman of the Wichita Falls event, said that he and executive director Chip Filer have consulted with people associated with John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

They want to create a warm-up ride in the months leading up to the 31-year-old event in Wichita Falls. Although the race in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will be the same distance as HHH and offer shorter routes, Christie said he can’t imagine the newly established race…<\/p>\n
