Now in its 4th year, this race has continued to grow and we expect another great turnout. Folks are already anticipating the excitement with many early sign ups. We would like to thank Dan for the hard work and dedication he has put into this race in the years past, it has always been fun and challenging.\u00c2\u00a0 This year\u00c2\u00a0 “The Willies” will be doing course design and race day activities. After this year we will be directing this race.<\/p>\n
Formerly called The Texas Jail Break – The name had to be changed due to an actual Jail Break at the Huntsville Prison where a prison guard lost his life – Jail Break is not a popular term around the park these days – understandably so. Our condolences go out to the family members of that guard.<\/p>\n
