I am trying to find a 30 mile route between camping grounds that is not to technical between Dallas and Austin. The Waco area would be a good spot for example but this is not set in stone.<\/p>\n<p>Not looking for a killer hill ride but something where we can make sure we are ready for a much longer tour. I&#8217;ve ridden it a couple of times before and, this year, the full 100 mile route would include Shepard AFB. But a few things cropped up. I waited too long to get a proper room. No problem &#8211; I&#8217;d either simply get up REAL early on Saturday morning or camp out the night before. Then, Warren called. You see, there was a Bike Rodeo in Allen on Saturday and Mike needed some help. Conflict had arisen.<\/p>\n<p>I worked one bike rodeo in conjunction with Chandra, documented here. This would be a second opportunity to see the different ways that League Cycling Instructors (LCIs) handle such events. How could I resist. The three-day annual race attracted approximately 12,000 cyclists from around the world and all fifty states for the 31st annual version which ended today.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Beuten said, &#8220;The wind was truly horrible! Last 15 miles were straight into strong enough winds to push me around, so I know it was a challenge to her (daughter KiKi)!
