\nThe Wheels for Meals invites you to join their ride on October 6, 2012 starting at Food Pantry-Jeff Davis County – 609 E Compromise St, Fort Davis, TX<\/p>\n

We were lucky enough to be granted an interview with Margaret O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Connell, Chairwoman of Wheels for Meals to ask some questions about their upcoming ride.<\/p>\n

Why join the Wheels for Meals?<\/em>

How long has the event been around?<\/em>
\n2012 ride is our 4th year.<\/p>\n

What was the motivation behind starting the tour and who benefits from it?<\/em>
\nI have personally participated in many charity bike rides and saw the power they have to not only raise money, but to raise awareness. When I moved to Fort Davis, I quickly realized the the Pantry was perhaps the single most crucial nonprofit in JDCty, because without the supplemental food it provides, children would not do well in…<\/p>\n

LSC Club Meeting<\/strong><\/span><\/a>
\nDate: Monday, October 15, 2012 – 7:30pm
\nOur next Lone Star Cyclists club meeting will be October 15th at the Bob Duncan Center, located at 2800 South Center St in Arlington. We hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

In addition to club business, Vice President Saundra Grigsby always has a special guest or activity planned for us. Refreshments, sodas, and bottled water will be served.
