\nThe weekend of Nov. 4, the cycling team wrapped up its mountain bike season successfully.<\/p>\n

Tony Baca, a cycling team member, received first place in the Men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s A Mountain Bike Conference Championship.<\/p>\n

Baca said he is also focused on winning the Collegiate Nationals.<\/p>\n

Cycling demonstration set for Nov. 29<\/strong><\/span><\/a>

\nAustin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s bicycling community, rocked by several recent fatalities, will ride slowly up Congress Avenue on Nov. 29 in a demonstration aimed at improving riding conditions.<\/p>\n

The cyclists will gather at 6 p.m. at City Hall, then pedal to the State Capitol, during the Pedaling for Safer Roads event.<\/p>\n

Organizers say they hope to send a message to lawmakers and city officials that better biking infrastructure and more motorist education is needed to keep cyclists safe. They also want more enforcement of laws protecting cyclists.<\/p>\n
