What started as crappy central Texas weather became a clearing day by the end of the ride.\u00c2\u00a0 We had a pretty big crowd at the beginning but that broke into two groups not too long into the ride. Unfortunately my camera died pretty early into the ride, so I only have a few shots.<\/p>\n

The men’s group finished the ride earlier and headed back for beer and grilling.\u00c2\u00a0 Not sure if the ladies got in more trail than us or just too their time.\u00c2\u00a0 Either way, in the…<\/p>\n

\nLast weekend was the Texas Cyclocross State Championships in Fredericksburg, Texas. Unlike the last cross races I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve shot, it was bright and sunny outside, so I decided to shoot with my new Leica M7 and Hasselblad, rather than the 5D. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m digging a lot of these, check them out yourself!<\/p>\n

I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m late in posting my obligatory \u00e2\u20ac\u0153year in review\u00e2\u20ac\u009d post.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m solidly in the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153better late than never\u00e2\u20ac\u009d than \u00e2\u20ac\u0153day late and a dollar short\u00e2\u20ac\u009d camp.<\/p>\n

As it turns out, 2012 was a lower total number of miles than years past but what the year lacked in total mileage it made up for in substance!<\/p>\n
