\nBarton Creek Greenbelt – 360 Access (beside brick office building)

\nPark by the trailhead and meet in the paved parking area adjacent to it.<\/p>\n

This is a ride call for the Barton Creek Greenbelt back-country. This is NOT a beginner-level ride in any way.<\/p>\n

WE WILL BE WHEELS DOWN AT 6 or when everyone is there, whichever comes first!!<\/p>\n

Several miles of the route require some good technical riding skill to negotiate safely.\u00c2\u00a0 They are very chunky\/rocky like Lake Georgetown, only much worse.\u00c2\u00a0 There will also be some steep extended climbs, exposed drops on the sides of the trail, and many large ledges and drops in the middle of it all.\u00c2\u00a0 Intermediates are more than welcome to come out, but ride at your own risk.

\nA weekly ride of about 21 miles. Starting from Southeast corner of Bldg 200 at 4:30pm. Please note that you must have a Lockheed-Martin badge to enter the compound. Others need to make arrangements to join the group outside the compound.<\/p>\n

\nThe organizers of the new Northeast Texas Trail (NETT) have scheduled its inaugural event to introduce the multi-use trail to potential users. On Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 7 am, teams of cyclists (mountain or gravel road bikes strongly recommended) and equestrians will begin separate relays from trailheads in New Boston and Farmersville. The meeting point will be Love Civic Center in Paris, (2025 S. Collegiate Dr.) Estimated time of arrival at the Paris Civic Center is 12 noon. Golden spikes will be driven into the ground at various points along the route, which was originally a railroad corridor.<\/p>\n
