Sheriff’s deputy hits bicyclist in NW Harris County<\/strong><\/span><\/a>

\nA sheriff’s deputy hit a bicyclist Friday morning along a street in northwest Harris County.<\/p>\n

The incident happened about 7 a.m. in the 16600 block of Theiss Mail Route Road near Louetta, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies said the bicyclist was treated at the scene and released.<\/p>\n

The deputy was driving a patrol car northbound on the road when the bicyclist, who was riding southbound on the road, turned into of path of the squad car, which hit the bicyclist.<\/p>\n

The bicyclist had minor injuries. The deputy was not hurt.<\/p>\n

The case is being investigated.<\/p>\n
