Temperature dropped from 71 to 48 from morning to sunset. Add some rain and I stayed inside all day. No biking today!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jWBy5UDq5YA&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;a\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jWBy5UDq5YA&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;a\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Cyclocross Racing In Trinity Park<\/strong><\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cyclocross Racing In Trinity Park\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jWBy5UDq5YA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s fall, despite the unseasonably warm weather Sunday, and the cyclocross racing season is at its peak. The Colonel&#8217;s Bike Shop hosted its annual Colonel&#8217;s \/ Sho-Air race in Trinity Park, the race attracting 150 racers from around the state. Cyclocross is a traditional fall European discipline generally combining off road cycling on a road bike, with plenty of running to jump over man-made obstacles. While standing on the southern shore of Lake Texoma you will be looking across the state line to Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>The trails at Cross Timbers are rooty and rocky, fairly similar to a cross between the trails at Northshore and Isle Du Bois State Park. The trails have plenty of roots, a sandy base and many trees.
