The accident happened about 10:20 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 1600 block of Waugh Drive.<\/p>\n<p>As Houston police investigate a hit-and-run accident that claimed a bicyclist&#8217;s life, an impromptu memorial to the young woman has appeared in Montrose where a driver left her mortally injured in the street.<br \/>\nChelsea Norman, 24, left her job at Whole Foods Market, 705 Waugh Drive, at 10:17 p.m. Dec. 1 and a couple minutes later was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 1600 block of Waugh Drive.<br \/>\nAn ambulance took her to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she was pronounced dead Dec. 4, authorities said.<br \/>\nIn memory of Norman, store employees are planning a walk and ride on Dec. 8 from Whole Foods to her nearby apartment on Jackson Street, which they&#8217;re calling &#8220;complete Chelsea&#8217;s ride,&#8221; said store team leader Elizabeth Brown.<br \/>\n&#8220;We&#8217;re gathering in the parking lot at 10 p.m. Sunday and will start the ride at 10:17,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Here at Whole Foods we&#8217;re a very tight-knit family.
