\nThoughts on Timmy Duggan and Quiting
\nIf cycling fans haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t heard, Timmy Duggan decided to retire from professional cycling. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m sure it was a very hard decision for him. Here is a great interview from Velonews.com on what lead to the decision.<\/p>\n

I loved how he talked about using cycling to learn how to set goals and achieve things. Cycling is great in this way. It has definitely taught me the lesson that anything worth having in this life will be hard to attain, and you will have to work extremely hard to achieve. This carries through to my home and work life.<\/p>\n

What really struck me was how he talks about cycling being a part of you, but making sure that you have other parts of your life that are important. I believe this also means having something to fall back on. In Timmy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s case, this is skiing and his family business in real estate.<\/p>\n

\nDue to the ice storm that came busting up all our plans last week Rudolph\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Revenge will be delayed until January 26th.<\/p>\n

With the full inch of ice that we still had covering the entire trail yesterday the race just wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t going to happen this Saturday. But, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m very happy to report that we have been allowed to re-schedule the race for Sunday January 26th, 2014.<\/p>\n
