\nEL PASO, Texas – Walking and bicycling to school is easily one of the best forms of exercise for children everywhere, especially if it’s a safe one.<\/p>\n

The City of El Paso has started a campaign to make upgrades to school zones in the city as part of the Safe Routes to School program.<\/p>\n

The federally-funded program will add more signs and lights to school zones to more than 30 schools.<\/p>\n

\nThere will be a Hamby trail work day Saturday, December 28, 2013. Come at 9am if you want to ride before hand. Trail work starts at 10am. No experience is required and everyone that shows up to work gets a free lunch after the work day! We will have a cookout and food and drinks will be provided.<\/p>\n

Bring: Lawnmower, Weed Eater, Loppers, Chainsaw, Rake, Shovel, Hammer, Nails, etc.<\/p>\n
