\n North Shore Trail is a 18 mile out and back trail located near Grapevine, Texas that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, mountain biking & walking and is accessible year-round.
\n Reviews: By Nathan R. – Don’t be intimidated by the mountain bikers. The northshore trail was originally an equestrian trail before the horses were chased off by the hikers. Now we find the mountain bikers are chasing off the pedestrians, but a few simple tips can make this a great trail for everybody. The local mountain bike club does a great job maintaining these trails. And over the past few years they have cut almost 10 miles of additional trail making it a one way trail the whole way. When you run or hike here, go in the same direction as the bikes. This will more than cut in half the number of bikers you encounter. If you’re running it’s easier for a Bike to pass if you’re going in the same direction. Good bikers can pass if you hug the side of the trail without either party having to stop.
