Dallas Looks At Bringing Bike Share Program To Fair Park<\/a><\/h2>\n

\n Dallas may soon join other Texas cities in starting a bicycle sharing program, but the city\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s initial proposed investment, some say, is hardly a confident endorsement of the idea.
\n Earlier this month, the Dallas Park and Recreation Board approved $125,000 for non-profit Friends of Fair Park to install and operate a bicycle rental program at Fair Park.
\n The $125,000, if approved by city council, would pay for a network of 15-20 bicycles.

\n This past weekend I set out with Jan and Monte from FCS Cycling to Corsicana, Texas for The 2014 Arthrosurface Tour of Corsicana. This weekend I was going to race my legs out, see what needs to be worked on, and leave with a smile. I did just that, and then some. Stage 1 was at 9AM Saturday morning, an individual time trial for less than 5 miles, I have always hated TT’s so I figured I would just go and give it my best. The roads were ruff, really ruff, but that didn’t stop anyone, for 4.76 miles it was just you and the road, it was 1 direction…straight. It was great weather, the wind was a cross tail basically the whole way there with an uphill finish. I don’t like TT’s, at all, but when I like them they are longer, between 10 and 20 miles favor me the best, so I can get a good tempo going and just pound it out. The short, sprint ones don’t really work in my favor, no biggie though. I was able to knock the race out in 12 minutes and 12 seconds, I was really happy with that, till I saw my result, 6th place, 1 minute and 15 seconds off from the leader…I knew I would have to make the time up in the road race, because it wasn’t going to…\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
