\n Riding a bicycle in the D-FW area is harmful to your health! I have ridden a bike from the Pleasant Grove area to downtown Dallas and back several times. Each time I had to suck up the fumes from the exhausts of many vehicles and got run off the road several times. Once I got run off the road by my next-door neighbor, who told me that bikes shouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be on the streets. The Texas attitude about cars and trucks is why public transportation does not do well in Texas. That is also the reason that biking won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t do well. If we have more bicycles on the road for any reason, we will suffer more deaths and injuries to the riders.
