Weather was not much of a factor although I did get caught in the rain once or twice. The grit and grime is the worst part of riding in the rain. I did not ride in any organized rides during May. I did expand my routes in the Huffman and Crosby area. The construction on US59 is moving further north so I have been able to start riding there again.\u00c2\u00a0 Other highlights for the month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>rode 23 days out of 31<\/li>\n<li>average mile per ride = 27.2<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>longest ride = 49.09<\/li>\n<li>shortest ride = 22.72<\/li>\n<li>M800 mountain bike miles = 0<\/li>\n<li>Mercier bike road miles = 626.85<\/li>\n<li>goal for May miles was 543<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>May was an enjoyable time to ride.
