He scoped out Ride of Heroes, and was kind enough to share his experience with all of us. Give it a read, and find out more about this sweet ride.<br \/>\n  Ride For Heroes &#8211; 2014 &#8211; April 19th, 2014-<br \/>\n  Went and made the drive out to Aledo on Easter weekend to do the Ride For Heroes.\u00c2\u00a0 First time for this ride so I did a bit of homework to see what it was all about.\u00c2\u00a0 Web site says its a rambling ride through Parker Co and has plenty of hills.\u00c2\u00a0 No problem, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m ok with that so we went ( my oldest son and I).<br \/>\n  Drive was easy, directions to the Aledo HS easy as well.\u00c2\u00a0 We drove down from the speedway area and were there in 40 minutes.\u00c2\u00a0 The start\/finish is in the high school parking lot, so there is plenty of parking.\u00c2\u00a0 Equally easy was the sign in.\u00c2\u00a0 Plenty of volunteers, so we were in and out in five minutes.<br \/>\n  Got lined up in the HS driveway behind a local fire truck that would lead us out.\u00c2\u00a0 This ride benefits the&#8230;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hcbtc.com\/blog\/event\/painted-church-ride\/\">Painted Church Ride\/Camping weekend<\/a><\/h2>\n<h4>Hill Country Bicycle Touring Club<\/h4>\n<blockquote><p>\n  Saturday, May 24th :\u00c2\u00a0 Ride starts Saturday at 9:00 at the SS Cyril and Methodius Church at FM Road 1383, Dubina, Texas 78956.
