The Houston Police Department bicycle relay team have begun their journey to Tacoma, Washington. This is the 33rd annual ride that the team has launched to raise awareness for The Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society.<br \/>\n  Over a distance of almost 3,000 miles, approximately forty officers will ride to the finish line with dog tags that are engraved with the names of the honored patients battling leukemia and casualties of the disease. Some of the officers are traveling with their sons.
