It also has one of the highest obesity rates.<br \/>\nBut local officials have taken on some of the city\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s health problems. And one of the key tools they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re using is cycling.<br \/>\nPlanning Director Ramiro Gonzalez says it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been about two years since the city of 180,000 \u00e2\u20ac\u201d 93 percent of them Latino \u00e2\u20ac\u201d began its cycling push. City Commissioner Rose Gowen, a doctor, made health-based initiatives a key part of her agenda.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u0153It really started at the level of getting people active to&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/montanamama-2onatandem.blogspot.com\/2014\/08\/loose-ends-and-learning.html\">Loose Ends and Learning<\/a><\/h2>\n<h4>2 on a tandem<\/h4>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to believe it&#8217;s been almost three weeks since we arrived home.
